Shona Crawford Bain focuses on strategy, leadership and results delivery. With a wealth of knowledge and experience across the Oil and Gas value chain from exploration & production, gas & power, refining and chemicals from capital projects to operations she has held senior line positions in Shell and Halliburton as well as consultancy roles for well-known international companies.

Kicking off her career offshore implementing major change programs, the thread of delivering results through implementing and the management of change has been a constant. With a Honours Degree and Masters in Business with a Specialism in Leadership from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow, Shona’s career progressed focusing on strategy and leadership with boards of directors and senior teams.

With a core belief that every organisation has a considerable amount of untapped talent, she sees it as her role to inspire and engage your people beyond just the senior team and to create a performance environment by stretching their skills and talents. Shona Crawford Bain is averse to ‘nice reports’ but works with you to understand strategically where do you need to be and why, understanding the dynamic nature of your business environment and its impact on your business model and results. There are no ‘me too strategies’ or a ‘one size fits all’. Her definition of success is passing skills set to her clients to the point where they can do it and sustain it for themselves

A self-starter Shona is driven, energetic and entrepreneurial. Combining her work at Mission Performance with her entrepreneurial spirit, Shona has founded and operates two businesses, one in manufacturing and retail and the other in property development. Loving nothing better than a challenge as well as variety Shona is happy whether she is working on a challenging oil and gas engagement to product or packaging design with her creative team or onsite with her team of builders.
