Mission Performance leads the way in delivering Aviation critical training in other industries
After a competitive tender process and the delivery of two 5-day pilot programmes, Mission Performance is delighted to report that we have been selected by a global Oil Field Services enterprise to design and deliver Human Factor training for their Well Site Operators, Field Engineers and Drilling Teams. Our services include the development of different bespoke programmes to integrate Human Factor training and the IOGP Non-Techs into their organisational competency framework
The IOGP 502 Report recently recommended that the Oil and Gas Industry should adopt aviation’s Human Factor training and gave advice about what to look for when selecting training suppliers and designing a bespoke Human Factors training portfolio.
Human Factors is about understanding human behaviour and performance. When applied to potentially hazardous operations, this unique training is used to optimize the interface between people and the systems in which they work in order to improve safety and performance. Along with many other potentially hazardous and mission critical industries, aviation’s key Human Factors are part of particular relevance to the oil and gas industry.
Our Human Factors Portfolio sits within our Academy and is delivered by qualified Crew Resource Management Instructors (CRMi’s) including Ex RAF Tornado Pilots, British Airways Captains and decorated Military Officers. Our core Human Factors for Team Leaders programme is also ILM accredited.
