At Mission Performance, we do what we do because we all believe that we can make a positive difference to the lives of the people we work with. Why else would you be in our business? Our Corporate Social Responsibility approach is based on the same principle of what we do for our clients. We hold high expectations of them and work hard to stretch their capabilities and beliefs as to what is possible. We do this through the delivery of powerful learning experiences indoors and outdoors – online and offline – all of which are rooted in our belief that we can change how we interact with the world and people around us provided we are powerfully aware, equipped and motivated to do so.
We deliver worldwide and often work in the forgotten parts of the world where our clients are based. We have run global community engagement programmes across 40+ countries that have generated multi-million pounds worth of savings and revenue. As part of our experiential activities portfolio, we also support a range of different charities through fundraising and through the exchange of skills with people like Shelterbox.
Give back to the community is part of who we are; we go beyond fundraising and have pioneered the creation a proprietary Ethical leadership model to measure the social value created or destroyed by organisations in wider society. This is to prove the hypothesis that ‘you can make profit by doing good’. We have walked to the North Pole, pioneered the carriage of RNLI life boats around the London Marathon course and ridden from John O Groats to Monaco all to raise money for good causes. Our Commercial Director himself worked as a First Responder distributing and coordinating aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
