Managing Director
  Rob Lewis is a founding member and Managing Director of Mission Performance. He has over 18 years of leadership training and facilitation experience with a wide variety of international clients.
He has designed and delivered in excess of 250 separate programmes for a range of international corporate organisations.
He has been published by both the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Management for his views on leadership and experiential training techniques and has been featured in both the Financial Times and the Times newspapers for his unique approaches to leadership and organisational development. He speaks regularly at learning and development conferences about specific case study examples of how to achieve high performance in business teams.
Mission demands that all of its people refresh their leadership and team experiences on a regular basis. To this end, Rob was part of the winning Fujitsu Polar Team who successfully retained the title when they raced to the Magnetic North Pole in 2004.

  Christiaan Mcleod is a co-founding Director of Mission Performance. He has a broad range of training and consulting experience working in partnership with Mission’s clients to design and project manage challenging solutions. A recent project was for a global oil company and involved Mission delivering a company wide change programme to the entire middle management in their African industry.
Christiaan’s leadership experience includes a 10 year career in the Royal Marines. He was awarded the Wilkinson Sword of Honour and Commando Medal during Officer Training and also received The Commandant Generals Commendation for leading a multinational training project in support of operations in Bosnia. He was attached to the Royal Hong Kong Police Anti Smuggling Task Force, reporting directly to Chris Patten prior to the hand over of Hong Kong to China.
Christiaan lead the winning team in the first ever race to a Northern Pole in 2003 and again with fellow Mission Director Rob Lewis in 2004 for a BBC documentary. He regularly speaks at conference events on the Polar Challenge.

  Elizabeth Adams recently completed a contract for KPMG project managing the design, delivery and implementation of their global learning and development skills programs. At the end of the contract had an extended ski season working in the three valleys.
Prior to this she was the Staff Development Manager for The Wessex Autistic Society where she implemented a Staff Development Function and NVQ Assessment Centre and developed/project managed a qualification with Bournemouth University in Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Whilst setting up at staff development function for the Hesley Group at one of their residential establishments she also studied for MBA in Education Management at the Institute for International Leadership at Lincoln University.
On returning to the UK in 1994 after living and working abroad for nearly 9 years in Canada and Germany where she ran a Kindergarten for the MOD for over 120 children, overcame employment challenges by setting up a business in Dorset involved in childcare, education and training, providing a “one stop service” for over 100 clients\parents. Elizabeth ran this business successfully for 7 years whilst gaining her Diploma in Management, NVQ 5 in Management, NVQ 4 in Human Resource Training and Development and becoming a full member of the Chartered Management Institute.
In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys downhill skiing, property development, and world wide travel following Formula One Grand Prix.

Financial and Operational Support Manager
  Karen has a passion for the outdoors and a thirst for life, bringing her limitless enthusiasm to Mission. 
She joined Mission having being self-employed for the last 4 years. In her role she ran an accounting function providing remote financial and operational support and advice for a small team of private medical consultants.
Before this Karen worked for 6 years as an Accounts Assistant for a large commercial vehicle Plc. During this time she completed the AAT to become a qualified Accounting Technician in 2003.
Karen is keen to complete her Accounting studies by starting CIMA, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, in 2010. In addition to this she intends to build on her operational experience and gain project management accreditation.
In her spare time Karen is a keen and active member of her local running club. She has competed in many road races from 10k’s to 20 miles but has recently found a passion for trail running. Karen has just finished the first of four Endurance Life Coastal Trail Series half marathons and is due to complete her first marathon in Pembrokeshire next March. Karen has been awarded “Senior Female 2009” by her running club. She is also a keen swimmer and cyclist and would like to compete in a triathlon next spring alongside Mission’s veteran triathlon duo of Rob and Chris.
