As one of Britain’s leading alpine climbers, Kenton has a record of hard first ascents the World over. He has brought a fast and light approach to high altitude climbing in the Himalaya, often in totally committing situations. As a Mountain Guide or Expedition Leader, Kenton has completed 17 successful expeditions in the Greater Ranges. These successes are largely down to his ability to build performing teams and to motivate and inspire those around him. His Everest guiding record stands testament to this, holding the highest success rate of any mountain guide. Following a horrific climbing accident Kenton was told that he would never walk properly again however, months of rehab and serious dedication saw him return to climbing. In less than a year he was leading a trip to Greenland establishing ground breaking new routes on the Arctic Circle. Kenton is a popular and entertaining lecturer in the UK and Europe. His seminars reflect a passion for the sport and the outdoors, while being inspirational; inspiring corporate teams and individuals to peak performance, even when success seems unattainable. Many are remembered for and all are supported by photographs and video footage from his expeditions. |
