With a background in building, coaching, leading and competing with yacht racing teams from a wide variety of backgrounds from around the world Clive put these skills to the ultimate Challenge - leading an amateur team to race around the world in 'the world's toughest yacht race'. Having successfully completed the race achieving podium finishes, record breaking 24 hour runs and winning the penultimate leg he has brought his expertise to the Mission team.

Since joining the team Clive has worked with the National Nigerian Petroleum Company, PrivatAir, Schlumberger and more, travelling extensively and bringing his unique leadership lessons from racing around the world to Mission’s many clients around the globe.
Clive is both an accomplished speaker and able to deliver the SDI tool.

'The crew, skippered by professional yachtsman Clive Cosby but otherwise consisting entirely of weekend sailors and novices, confounded yachting experts by opting to continue the second, and hardest, leg of the race from Buenos Aires to Wellington.' This after their second medivac, forcing them to head back into the Southern Ocean for a third time. Having caught up once before 'showing excellent heavy weather sailing ability' they found themselves two weeks and some 2,000nm behind the racing fleet.
